I found this sweet piece of wall art/shelf at the downtown antique mall for less than $50. I loved the scrollwork of leaves at the top. I finally got some things I found around the house in it to show you. (more…)

Just look what all I’ve been buying up the past few days. I’ve got to get these into pots or the ground. I kept them in last night due to the freeze we had. The vast array of colors and lush growth makes me dizzy with excitement. It’s so wonderful to see the nurseries stocking blooms! (more…)

I had the most wonderful birthday yesterday. My 52nd, by the way. Here we are, three blogging friends at the Potpourri House in Tyler. I am standing. Nola of Alamo North is seated wearing the solid blue. And next to her is a blogging friend neither of us had met, Tina from Stitching In Texas. We had so much fun. (more…)

It is a nice touch to add sedums underneath taller flowers, as I have above. More texture and various shades of green leaves are added to the overall pot. (more…)
